Copyright transfer

In order to publish your paper at WASPAA 2011, you must transfer the copyright to the IEEE by completing the IEEE Copyright Transfer Form. Happily, this process is now completely online. Please complete the process described below; although there are a lot of steps, it should only take a couple of minutes.

Please be sure to complete this by Friday September 16th so we can include your paper in the workshop proceedings. Thank you!

  1. Go to https://waspaa2011.ieeeevents.com/portal/cfp/home.ww
  2. Log in with the username/password you used during submission
  3. At the bottom of the page is the list of “previous submissions”. Click on the pencil icon next to your paper to edit the submission.
  4. This takes you to the upload page, although uploading is by now disabled. Scroll down to the very bottom and click “next” to take you on to the next page. This shows the paper’s title, authors, and ID.
  5. Enter your email address where indicated, and click “next”
  6. You are then taken to the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form landing page. Read the explanation, then click “Next” to start the copyright form creation process.
  7. Most questions are self-explanatory. For “Are you completing this form as part of a conference paper submission?”, click “Yes”.
  8. We are still investigating the possibility of making videos of the presentations at WASPAA, for free distribution on the web. You will have the chance to opt-out of having your presentation recorded via a checkbox.
  9. Once you have completed all the questions you will be taken to the completed copyright form. Enter your name in the text box at the bottom (in lieu of a signature), and click the “Submit” button.
  10. A confirmation email, including a PDF of the completed copyright form, will be emailed to the address you entered in step 5.
  11. Clicking the “Return” button takes you back to the WASPAA submission site. Click “Finished” to complete the process.

Thanks for taking care of this!
