Due to a number
of requests from prospective authors, the Organizing Committee of this year's
IEEE Workshop on Applications of Signal Processing to Audio and Acoustics is
extending the deadline for paper submissions by one week. The new deadline is May 2, 2003.
In addition, we recognize that some authors of papers accepted to the recently
cancelled ICASSP 2003 in Hong Kong may wish to present their ICASSP work to the
audio community at WASPAA ’03. We
encourage authors whose papers were accepted at this year's ICASSP to consider
presenting their work at the WASPAA’03 meeting, as we will be offering special
poster sessions in which ICASSP material will be exhibited. We invite authors of papers
accepted to ICASSP to resubmit their ICASSP papers “as-is†for consideration
for poster presentation at WASPAA ‘03. There is no need for these authors to
reformat their ICASSP papers to match the WASPAA’03 paper format.Â
However, because
it is likely that we will not be able to accommodate all interested authors,
final selections for the poster sessions will be made by the Organizing
Committee from among the ICASSP papers submitted. Furthermore, because
this year’s ICASSP proceedings will still be published, any paper accepted to
ICASSP and also accepted to the special ICASSP poster sessions at WASPAA will
not be included in the WASPAA’03 proceedings.
Authors whose
papers were accepted at ICASSP’03 should submit their papers using the online paper
submission page. If your
paper was accepted at ICASSP’03, please indicate this on the submission form by
selecting the “Paper Accepted at ICASSP 03†topic at the bottom of the online
submission page. Â
